LINE CONCENTRATION CONVERTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line concentration converter by which its own device is automatically set independently of the type of line concentration converter connected to a remote side. SOLUTION: This line concentration converter is provided with a command generating section 104 that generates a command to discriminate a line concentration converter connecting to a remote side, a command issue section 102 that issues a command generated by the command generating section 104, a storage section 106 that stores lots of type dependent setup file, a device type discrimination section 103 that discriminates whether or not a line concentration converter connecting to the remote side accepts a command issued from the command issue section 102 and discriminates the line concentration converter connecting to the remote side when the acceptance of the issue command is discriminated, and a setup processing section 105 that sets up based on a type dependent setup file corresponding to the type discriminated by the device type discrimination section 103.
