DEFLECTION YOKE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deflection yoke capable of improving deflecting sensitivity while avoiding the neck shadow and supressing temperature rise. SOLUTION: In a deflecting yoke to be installed in a television receiver employing a cathode ray tube or an image display apparatus, a plurality of ranging parts 5, 6 are formed by dividing a ranging part of a saddle type horizontally deflecting coil 2 into two or more parts in the phosphor face side of the cathode ray tube and at the same time a plurality of ranging part 8, 9 are formed by dividing a ranging part of a saddle type vertically deflecting coil 3 into two or more parts in the phosphor face side of the cathode ray tube. Consequently, while avoiding the neck shadow, the deflecting sensitivity can be improved and the temperature rise can be suppressed.
