Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excavation soil amount measurement system and method in a shield tunneling method capable of discriminating the soil quality of the investigation range of a face in real time, obtaining an accurate theoretical excavation dry sand amount and appropriately measuring an excavation dry sand amount and excavation control system and method using them. SOLUTION: This excavation soil amount measurement system 1 is provided with an electromagnetic wave transmission/reception means 80 for transmitting and receiving electromagnetic waves to/from the face, a soil quality discrimination means 86 for discriminating the soil quality of the excavation cross section of the face based on the received result of the electromagnetic waves, an angle measurement part 38 for measuring the rotation angle of a shield machine face plate and an index excavation soil amount computing means 88 for obtaining the ratio occupying the excavation cross section of each soil quality for constituting the excavation cross section and computing an excavation soil amount to be the index of excavation control. Based on the excavation soil amount measured result, the excavation of a shield machine is controlled.
