Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail, in which a supporter is installed at the arbitrary place of a handrail member, in the handrail mounted on the wall surface of a stair, a corridor, etc. SOLUTION: The handrail consists of a cylindrical handrail member 1, in which an opening section is formed in the longitudinal direction while a holding- attaching wall inclined so as to be widened towards the inside is juxtaposed in the opening section, abutting surfaces are formed to the sandwiching wall and which is composed of a hollow section broadened towards the inside from a second opening section formed between the edge sections of the opposed abutting surfaces, a supporter 2 for installing the handrail member 1 to a wall surface, etc., at proper intervals and a sliding penetrating body 24, in which female screws are formed at both ends. The external wall of the sliding penetrating body 24 pushes the sandwiching wall, and the handrail member 1 is fixed firmly onto the supporter.
