SOLUTION: This compsn. is prepd. by compounding 100 pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin with 0.1-10 pts.wt. organotin compd. selected from among organotin maleic ester salts, organotin maleate polymers, organotin mercaptides, organotin sulfides, organotin mercaptide/sulfides, organotin mercaptocarboxylates, and organotin carboxylates, 0.01-5 pts.wt. carboxylic acid compd. of the formula (wherein R1 is aryl, alkaryl, alkoxyaryl, carboxyaryl, aralkyl or a heterocyclic residue: R2 is H or 1-4C alkyl; and R3 is H, 1-4C alkyl or aryl), and generally compounded additives as required.
