Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a gas insulating zinc oxide type lightning arrester and reduce cost. SOLUTION: This arrester is provided with a non-linear resistor 49 formed by laminating a container 37 at one end closed with an insulation spacer 42 at which a connection conductor 43 is sealed and supported at a center and at the other end closed by a bottom member 39, respectively, being charged with an insulation gas 62, a sealing terminal 60 for closing a branch tube 40 formed at one side on the other end side of the container 37 and sealing and supporting a terminal conductor 59 at a center, and a plurality of voltage non- linear resistor elements 48 which are housed in an insulation cylinder 44 and at one end connected to the connection conductor 43 and at the other end connected to the terminal conductor 59, respectively.
