Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take up a tape neatly in order to reduce damages of the tape when the tape is taken up into a reel. SOLUTION: If air is entrained when a tape is taken up into a reel, the taken-up state becomes irregular. In order to eliminate this irregularity, obstacles, i.e., air dams 35, 36 and 37, are provided in the route of an air flow produced by the rotation of the reel 21. An air pressure is lowered on the side of a converging position 17 which is in a downstream of the air flow and at which the take-up is started and the part of the tape 13 before the take-up is attracted toward the part of the tape already taken-up. With this constitution, the entrainment of air into tape layers is reduced, so that the tape is neatly arranged after take-up.
