Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten an inclined water-cooled feeder for an induction furnace by eliminating exceeding of heat resistant temperature limit of an insulator such as an induction coil even by using it in a high temperature atmosphere. SOLUTION: A sealed cylindrical furnace frame 2 with a bottom is disposed in a sealed high temperature atmosphere chamber 1. The induction furnace 3 having a crucible 3a with a tap hole 3d, an induction coil 3b and a yoke 3c is installed in the frame 2. The furnace 3 and an upper end of the frame 2 are sealed by an annular refractory 4. Oblique shafts 5a, 5b of the frame 2 are rotatably passed through the chamber 1, and tiltably provided via a rack 7a and a pinion 7b. A water-cooled feeder 8 is introduced from a power board 5p at an atmospheric end of the shaft 5a into the coil 3b in the frame 2 to supply AC power 9. Simultaneously, refrigerant such as water or the like is introduced from the board 5p to be connected to a cooling tube 11b or the like brought into close contact with the frame 2. |
