Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive display device in which the yield of a drive circuit formed on a display element is improved by a simple and inexpensive means and a rate of a display area of display elements with respect to an entire display area is high. SOLUTION: The display device is made of a plurality of the same buffer circuits connected in parallel, and each buffer circuit is made up of a buffer section 11 whose one terminal connects to an output section of a sequencing circuit 10 and up of a signal driver section having a changeover switch section 12 that is connected to the other terminals of the buffer section 11 and disconnects a defective buffer circuit when any of a plurality of the same buffer circuits is defective. The signal driver section or the like is formed on a display panel on which pixels for video image display and switch elements to make switching for writing a video signal to each pixel are formed in the same process as the switching elements.
