TERMINAL EQUIPMENT AND BRIDGE DEVICE FOR RADIO LAN SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of collision at the time of transmission by retransmitting colliding transmission data after the lapse of waiting time to the next transmission processing while using fixed back-off time on the same degree as transmission data sending time. SOLUTION: When a data transmitting/receiving mechanism 20 is called by detecting the collision of transmission data, a back-off control mechanism 21 of terminal equipment 3 sets the waiting time by multiplying a prescribed random number and the back-off time sey to the fixed time on the same degree as transmission data sending time. After the lapse of this waiting time, retransmission is instructed to the data transmitting/receiving mechanism 20. Thus, concerning the terminal equipment 3, any terminal equipment 3 starts transmission and the other terminal equipment 3 starts the idle detection of a radio space and detects no idle radio space so as not to start retransmission processing. Thus, the repetition of collision can be stopped.
