Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure functional reliability and electrical characteristics. SOLUTION: In a plastic complex insulator including a shank 2 and at least one shield and a cap, the shank 2 comprises a fiber reinforced plastic core 3 and a shield exterior 4 having at least one shield 6 formed in a spiral around the shank 2 and a jacket 5. The shield exterior 4 has a seamless integral body. When manufacturing, given an adhesion promoting agent to the fiber reinforcing plastics core 3, the shield exterior 4 is bonded to the jacket 5 through a side feed die which has a rotatable die ring.
