LIGHT SHIELDING PACKAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an improved package being in a properly hermetically sealed state, until the package is unsealed, in the case of interior light loading by including a core having a relative end part and a long-size material for a photosensitive web material wound around the core, for forming a roll. SOLUTION: The package includes the core 12 having the relative end part and the long-size material 14 for the photosensitive web material wound around the core 12, to form the roll 10. The roll 10 for the web material having photosensitivity such as a photographic film is provided with the central hollow core 12 not normally having a flange. Further, the core 12 has the relative end part and a length almost equal to the width of such a long-size material 14 for the web material. The long-size material 14 is wound on the core 12, so that the roll 10 after being wound has relative end surfaces 16 and 18. A guiding end part 20 for the long-size material 14 is attached to a flexible opaque leader.
