Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a lead damper to be easily and securely connected to a portion where it is installed, to obtain an energy absorption capability and a restoring force characteristic which are stable from micro to large deformation, while allowing the restoring force to be set freely, by forming the lead damper into the cylinder type that is compact and easy to handle. SOLUTION: In a cylinder type disc lead damper, a rod 3 having a crevice 10 in its end is passed through a cylinder 2 having a crevice 9 on one side, and a plurality of lead discs 4 that can intervene between the cylinder 2 and the rod 3 are arranged at intervals along the longitudinal direction of the rod, the inner periphery of each lead disc 4 being held from both sides by nut spacers 5 screwed to the rod 3, the outer periphery of each lead disc 4 being held from both sides by ring spacers 6. If an external force works, its energy is absorbed by the out-of-plane deformations of the plurality of lead discs 4. A certain restoring force is obtained by setting the shape and number of the lead discs 4 as necessary.
