Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively ignite with a stable pilot flame while enhancing NOx reducing effect by a water tube. SOLUTION: In the planar combustion burner apparatus comprising a planar burner 1 having many vent holes therein for planarly burning on a surface 1a of the burner, and many water tubes 8 disposed at the surface 2a side of the burner 1, a pilot burner 6 for firing an igniting pilot flame 7 is approached to the surface 1a of the burner 1, disposed at a side of the surface 1a, and a recess 18a for passing the flame 7 is provided at a part of the tubes 8 approaching to a fire port 6a of the burner 6.
