SAFE DEVICE OF SELF-RUNNING TYPE THRESHER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the damage to a machine and an accident resulting in injury or death caused by carelessly running a machine body or rotating a thresher by means of a worker. SOLUTION: In a self-running type thresher, a shelding material 3 which covers the end part of a cranking shaft 2 in an engine E is made to be freely change-over possible into a shielding state and a non-shielding state and the material 3 ismade to be the shielding state by the 'on'-operation of a running clutch lever 4 or a threshing clutch lever 5 so as to be kept. Then, the change- over of the shielding material 3 into the non-shielding state is manually executed only at the time of 'off'-operation of the running clutch lever 4 and the threshing clutch lever 5. The decomp lever of the engine E is covered by the shielding material so as to be freely change-over possible into the shielding state and the non-shielding state and the shielding material can be made to be the shielding state by the 'on'-operation of the running clutch lever 4 or the threshing clutch lever 5 so as to be kept.
