MANUFACTURE OF TONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacture capable of efficiently making small grain size electrostatic charge developing toner having an accurate grain distribution without containing any flocculated materials or very small powder. SOLUTION: A source material made of roughly broken materials is introduced to a particular impact type airflow crusher and crushed into minute pieces and then the minutely crushed pieces are introduced to a first classification step having a classifying means for classifying powder by utilizing a centrifugal force produced by a forcible swirl, the crushed pieces are classified into first coarse powder and first fine powder, the first fine powder is eliminated, the first coarse powder is introduced to a second classifying step and classified into second coarse powder and second fine powder, the second coarse powder is minutely crushed again by the crushing means and circulated and the second fine powder is used as a classified product for a toner product.
