PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a path selection circuit, for waveform observation, by which the number of gates and the number of terminals are reduced sharply. SOLUTION: A path selection circuit, for waveform observation, which is used to selectively observe respective output signals of a plurality of logic circuits 102 constituting a logic circuit component 101 is provided with a logical operation means 111 which performs a prescribed logical operation according to inputs of prescribed output signals from the plurality of logic circuits 102 and which uses a logical operation result in order to observe a waveform and with an input-signal creation means 112 which creates an input signal capable of obtaining a signal, for observation, suitable for waveform observation according to the characteristic of the designated logic circuits 102 according to the input of a selection instruction, which creates, so as to be input to the respective logic circuits 102, input signals capable of obtaining output signals to be used as signals for observation of the logic circuits 102 whose logical operation results by the logocial operation means 111 are designated according to respective characteristics of the logic circuits 102.
