Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction in a winding space of an electromagnetic coil caused by arrangement of a temperature fuse, reduce erroneous operation of the temperature fuse in normal operation, and improve responsiveness of fusion of the temperature fuse during sliding a clutch. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic clutch has a rotor 2 rotated upon receiving torque from a rotational driving source, a coil housing 4 which houses a coil spool 14 wound on an electromagnetic coil 5 fixed thereto, and an armature 8 which is attracted to a frictional surface 2a of the rotor 2 by electromagnetic attraction generated by the electromagnetic coil 5 for transmitting rotation to the side of a hub 12. In the coil spool 14, on inclined surface is formed on an inner peripheral corner located on the side of the frictional surface 2a of the rotor 2. A temperature fuse 13 is arranged on a recession formed by the inclined surface. Current carrying to the electromagnetic coil 5 is interrupted by fusion of the temperature fuse 13 at a specified temperature or more.
