Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electromagnetic levitation rails with a structure that is replaceable abraded levitation rails by easy operations. SOLUTION: Electromagnetic levitation rails for a magnetic levitation type rolling stock are provided with a pair of magnetic poles 4 and 5 that form a magnetic closed circuit between the poles and an electromagnet mounted to a travelling body to levitate this travelling body, and a pair of friction materials of a mechanical brake device mounted to the travelling body are provided to pinch the magnet pole 4. Then the magnet pole 4 engaged with the friction materials is structured to be detachable from a main rail 2.
