Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silicone rubber sponge compsn. which is excellent in foamability, has a uniform and fine cell structure, has a skin layer with a smooth nonsticky surface, and does not need long-time posture by compounding a specific organopolysiloxane with a specific blowing agent and a curative. SOLUTION: This compsn. essentially contains 100 pts.wt. organopolysiloxane represented by the mean compsn. formula: Rn SiO(4-n)/2 (wherein R is an optionally susbtd. monovalent hydrocarbon group; and n is 1.98-2.02) and having at least two alkenyl groups in the molecule, 10-100 pts.wt. reinforcing silica having a specific surface area of 50m /g or higher, 0.01-50 pts.wt. dimethyl 2,2'- azobisisobutylate, 0.1-10 pts.wt. org. peroxide, a catalytic amt. of a platinum catalyst, and 0.01-10 pts.wt. organohydrogenpolysiloxane having at least two silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms in the molecule.
