Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the take-up period of taking up a bend member on the take-up drum of a take-up motion provided with a festoon, reduce space required for the installation of the take-up motion, and reliably feed the leading edge of a band member to the take-up drum. SOLUTION: A band member take-up motion includes a leading-edge feed conveyer 5 arranged between a feed conveyer 1 and a take-up means 2 for feeding the leading edge of a band member X toward the take-up means 2 beyond a festoon 4, a holding conveyer 6 for magnetically attracting the band member X suspended in the vertical feed direction of its conveyer belt 64 on the feed side of the festoon 4 to its belt surface 64a, and a guide member for guiding the band member X suspended on the feed side of the festoon 4 toward the take-up means 2 and thus causing the leading-edge feed conveyer 5 to magnetically attract the band member X thereto detachably at its lower surface of its conveyer belt 54.
