PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply air to a pressure tank without lowering a characteristic, especially a shutoff total head of a pump concerning a pump device for a well to be used at home in general especially having an air supply device, on an automatic pump device constituted of a pneumatic pressure tank. SOLUTION: This pump device is constituted of an impeller, a casing, a casing cover 3, a pump head part 6 including a separated chamber, a motor 7 to be a driving source of a pump, a pneumatic pressure tank 10, a pressure switch 12, an automatic air supply device 11 having a communicating pipe 15, a suction opening 8 of water and a piping connecting part to be a discharge port 9. In this case, a resistor 24 is provided on a suction piping connecting part.
