Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remotely start an engine or the like in addition to starting of the engine or the like by means of a regular vehicular key while securing safety against a theft. SOLUTION: When a remote switch 52 outputs a signal to start an engine 40, a remote engine start device 54 receives the signal by means of a receiver 66 and outputs a signal to turn a key switch and an ignition switch. An immobilizer ECU12 outputs a inquiry signal (TXCT), and the remote engine start device 54 outputs a return signal (RXCK) and a key code (CODE) stored in a transponder through an amplifying circuit 70. The immobilizer ECU12 permits engine start providing that the key code is included in the regular code stored in an EEPROM 20. Therefore, even if an ignition key is not yet inserted, an engine can be started while securing safety.
