Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the arc blow by feeding a welding filler wire from the center of the axis of a tungsten electrode. SOLUTION: A hollow hole la is pierced in the axis of a tungsten electrode 1 for the TIG welding and insulated with an insulator 8. The filter wire 3 is passed through the hollow hole 1a and fed to the electrode l in an electrically non-contact condition. The inert gas 10 for shield flows from a torch nozzle 2 and the inert gas 9 also flows for cooling and shielding the electrode from the hollow hole 1a. When the welding arc is generated, a tip of the wire 3 is located toward the end from the tip of the electrode 1 to prevent the wire 3 from being welded to the electrode 1. After the arc is generated, the wire 3 is fed. Welding is performed with the electrode 1 and the wire 3 on the negative side and the base metal on the plus side. Because the welding arc becomes concentric with the current flowing the wire 3, the magnetic field generated by the current flowing in the wire 3 does not affect the arc. |
