Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood treating device effective for an improvement in symptoms by subjecting the blood of a rapidly progressive glomerulonephritis patient to extracorporeal circulation and efficiently and safely removing the white blood cells contg. at least the lymphocytes in the blood. SOLUTION: This device is constituted by liquid-tightly connecting a means which feeds at least 1 to 5 liter of patient's blood at a flow velocity of 10 to 200ml/min, a means which feeds an anticoagulant at a flow velocity of 0.003 to 40ml/min and a white blood cell capturing means which is formed by packing white blood cell capturing materials, of which the main parts consist of the aggregate of porous materials, fibers or particles and which contain the lymphocytes into a vessel having an inlet and outlet for the blood and contain the lymphocytes of which the air permeation rate is 20 to 2000 liter/min. As a result, the preferential removal of the white blood cells contg. the lymphocytes from the blood of the rapidly progressive glomerulonephritis patient is made possible. |
