FAUCET DEVICE FOR WATER PURIFIER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine the replacement time of a filter cartridge by moving a flow rate responding member according to the flow rate of clear water in a clear water flow passage of a faucet and indicating the position. SOLUTION: A faucet member 3 has a clear water passage 17 on the upstream side and a non-clear water passage on the downstream side and energizes a flow rate responding member 19 provided slidingly at the tip of the flow passage 17 by means of a spring 20 in the opposite direction to the flowing direction of clear water. When clear water flows in the flow passage 17, fluid pressure is applied to a pressure receiving piece 22 of the responding member 19 and the responding member 19 moves toward the tip of the flow passage 17 against an energizing force of the spring 20 while clear water flows out from a clear water outlet 10 by way of a water flow hole 21 of the pressure receiving piece 22. At that time, an indication piece 23 indicates the amount of movement in a transparent window 24. The moving distance of the responding member 19 responds to the flow rate of clear water while the flow rate of clear water is subjected to the clogging in the filer cartridge of a water purifier. Therefore, the degree of clogging in the filter cartridge can be determined by the moving distance of the indication piece 23, which makes it possible to determine the replacement time of the filter cartridge easily and definitely.
