COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT AND COMMUNICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an optional slave set to make line wire call via a master set in a cordless telephone set consisting of two master sets or over connecting respectively to a wired line and slave sets attaching to each master set and to allow the slave set to make a line wire call even when the slave set is not synchronized with the master set. SOLUTION: Two master sets or over send/receive a synchronizing signal with a control carrier to conduct synchronization operation. A slave set 1 receives a synchronizing signal sent by the synchronization control carrier from the two master sets or over when transmission reception of a speech signal by the communication carrier is not made to establish synchronization and makes an external line call via the master set having an idle wired line. Furthermore, the slave set is provided with a memory section 8 storing an identification number of the like of the master set being a communication destination and in the case of making an external line call when the slave set is not synchronously with the master set attaching thereto directly, the slave set makes a call to the master set having the identification number of the like stored in the memory section 8 to conduct an external line call.
