Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composite material having a high mechanical strength and toughness and excellent moldability and mass suited for production without requiring the coating of fibers, by impregnating a reinforced fiber bundle with a boron containing organosiloxane(BOP) and baking. SOLUTION: BOP is obtained by blending a mixture of an organohalogen silane with boron trichloride in an organic solvent at =1,200 deg.C heat resistance is preferable as the reinforcing fiber.
