Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for overcoming the drawbacks with a filling device for a toner container. SOLUTION: First toner container 16 to be filled is placed on an adequate position for a filling tube 14 and supplied toner 12, the toner 12 is moved from a toner supplying section 10 to the first container 16 through the filling tube 14 by applying shifting magnetic field 28 to the filling tube 14, the first toner container 16 is removed from the filling tube 14, and the second toner container to be filled is placed on an adequate position for the filling tube 14.
