Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and conveniently move a load to the other position from a certain position by an operator by automatically detecting the load acting on a pneumatic pressure actuating type device, automatically self-compensating various loads, and selectively maintaining the loads in a stationary condition. SOLUTION: A control device 10 is put in a holding mode, that is, a load detecting mode. A load 20 is held in a stable and stationary condition, and the control device 10 automatically self-compensates load weight acting on an air hoist 12. When this is actuated, a directional control valve 46 is made to detect control pressure necessary for the device 10 to hold the load 20 in a stationary condition. This is because pneumatic pressure in lines 48, 50, 52, 56, 63 and 64 is equal to preset pressure of an adjuster 58. When the load 20 is once stopped by reaching its desired position, an operator can switch the control device 10 in a stationary counter balance mode by shifting the directional control valve 46.
