Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a gap between the bead part and the rim flange when assembling the tire rim without affecting the maneuvering stability after assembly of the rim, and provide a pneumatic tire which can improve the uniformity and the feeling of ride. SOLUTION: The structure of the captioned pneumatic tire is such that on the surface of a rim cushion part 4 of a tire bead part 1 are disposed, with a predetermined space in the circumferential direction of the tire, the plural number of projection strips 6 or slits which extend from the vicinity of a bead heel part 1c contacting with the rim flange to the vicinity of a rim check line 5 passing a contact/separation point. The hardness of the rubber in the region containing the plural number of projection strips G or slits shall be JIS A hardness 60 to 70, and the height h or depth d of the projection strip 6 or the slit 16 shall be 0.1 to 0.3mm and its width w 0.2 to 4mm.
