Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently produce tough laminated wood by effectively utilizing fine woods by compressing a plurality of heated woods arranged in parallel from four outside directions so as to uniformly disperse pressure and closely bonding the woods by forming the contact surfaces of them as uneven surfaces. SOLUTION: A plurality of woods 30 of which the surfaces are processed into a columnar or prismatic shape or from which the bark is removed are introduced into a primary heating pipe to be hermetically sealed therein and heated by heated and pressurized steam to be fed in the molding chamber of a press machine to be together pressed. The hard parts of the pressed woods 30 protrude and the closely bonded parts thereof become a recessed shape and the woods 30 become a prismatic or plate like shape as a whole. The woods 30 are again heated and pressed by the high frequency power supply of the press machine and compressed into a high density columnar shape to be transferred to a cooling and shape retaining pipe and once held to a high temp. heated state in a heating chamber to be transferred to a cooling means and the glass transition state of the woods is released to fix the woods to a compressed and molded state. Next, the woods 30 are separated and an adhesive is applied to the bonding surfaces of the woods and these woods are gathered in a pressed state and four surfaces of the outer peripheries of the gathered woods are again pressed to cure the adhesive to obtain tough laminated wood.
