Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a novel catalyst system capable of being optimally used in the trimerization reaction, oligomerization reaction or polymerization reaction of an olefin by bringing respective components of a chromium compd., an imine compd. and a metal alkyl compd. into contact with each other. SOLUTION: A chromium compd. is represented by formula III (wherein X is an arbitrary org. group, an arbitrary inorg. group or an arbitrary negative atom and l is an integer of 1-6). An imine compd. is a diimine compd. represented by formula I or II (wherein R -R are each a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group being a 1-30C alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, a cyclopentadienyl group, a 6-30C aryl group, an alkylaryl group or an arylalkyl group, two or more groups among R -R and R -R may be mutually bonded to form a ring and m and n are an integer of 0-6). As a metal alkyl compd., one of which the metal is aluminium, magnesium, lithium, boron or zinc can be designated. |
