HIGH DENSITY COMPACT DISK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high density compact disk having a track of high density capable of recording a large amount of information capable of reproducing for a long time. SOLUTION: A track is divided classifying the recording surface on a substrate 10 into grooves 11 and lands 12 in order to improve the density of the track, pits 13 are arranged and formed as an information signal in both zones of grooves 11 and lands 12. Here, grooves 11 are optimized in a prescribed depth considered a light wavelength, and crosstalks due to a pit signal existing in adjacent grooves 11 and lands 12 are reduced at the time of reproducing the pit signal of one objective track. Therefore, the practicality of the compact disk is improved as a medium storing a large amount of information such as image information.
