Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the distortion of two substrates even if sealing material shrink by curing. SOLUTION: This device is constituted by holding the sealing materials 6 between a pair of substrates (3), 4 and injecting liquid crystal from injection ports 9 as the breaks of the sealing materials 6 into the liquid crystal injection spaces formed in such a manner. In such a case, the sealing materials 6 exist nearer the inner side than the edges of a pair of the substrate at least near the injection parts 9 and have the spacings where a pair of the substrates are disposed to face each other directly in the thickness direction. Dummy pattern held by a pair of the substrates are formed in these spacings. The sealing materials are arranged from the injection ports 9 to these spacings and the dummy patterns exist in the form of embedding the dummy patters in the sealing materials, by which a pair of the substrates are supported in the thickness direction.
