Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink containing surface enhanced resonance Raman scattering (SERRS) active sol, useful for printing bank bills and other bills, high in sensitivity, and capable of giving easily and quickly identifiable signals. SOLUTION: This pigment composition contains pref. 0.1-2wt.% of SERRS active sol. To obtain the sol, a soluble precursor such as a metal salt (pref. silver nitrate) is reduced by addition of a colloid-forming agent (pref. citrate) in an aqueous or solvent medium followed by addition of a flocculant [pref. poly(L-lysine)] to form flocculated colloid of surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) active metallic particles (in the above reduction, it is preferable that a coded compound having electron absorption frequency close to SERS plasmon resonance frequency (pref. copper phthalocyaninesulfonic acid) to adsorb the coded compound to the surface of the SERS active metal colloid).
