PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized electric pot not to be locally heated without the need of filling a heat, insulation material in a heat insulation space layer by narrowing a part between the inner side face of an outer barrel and the outer side face of a container, providing a still air heat insulation layer for not generating the convection of air and disposing a water lifting pipe inside the still air heat insulation layer. SOLUTION: The container 14 for storing hot water whose opening edge part is connected to the opening edge part of a shoulder body 24 is housed inside an exterior main body 13 for closing the lower opening part of a cylindrical outer barrel 10 by a bottom part 11 and tightly sealing an upper opening part by a lid 12, and a heater 15 is provided on the bottom part lower surface. Since the container 14 is provided on the opening edge part of a joining mechanism with the shoulder body 24, the part near the opening edge part is narrowed to an inner side and a narrow neck part 16 is formed. Then, in this case, a still air cut-off layer 19 composed of a narrow clearance is formed between the outer barrel 10 and the container 14, and thus, the air heated by the heater 15 is prevented from being raised and circulated. Also, at this time, the still air heat insulation layer 19 is utilized for a piping space and the water lifting pipe 21 can be disposed.
