Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a UV absorber for a photographic material imparting high light stability. SOLUTION: The light stability of a color photographic silver halide material is improved by incorporating (a) a TiO2 pigment having 1-100nm primary particle diameter into one layer of the material and (b) a hydroxyphenylbenzotriazole compd. and/or a hydroxyphenyltriazine compd. into the same layer or other layer so as to protect the material from UV. For example, a compd. represented by the formula is incorporated. In the formula, each of R1 and R3 is halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, aryloxy, alkylthio, arylthio, acyloxy, acylamino or acyl, R2 is alkyl or acyl and each of (m) and (n) is 0, 1 or 2.
