DATA COLLECTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data collecting device capable of automatically collecting measuring data for a long period even when power lines are not wired in the vicinity of the device. SOLUTION: A power supply part 40 for supplying power to a detection part 10 provided with various sensors, a control part 20 for taking and storing respective outputs from the detection part 10, and a communication part 30 for executing data communication to/from a centralized management device 8 through a telephone line is provided with an AC/DC converter 48 for generating DC power supply from commercial power supply of AC 100V, a solar battery 42 for converting solar light energy into electric energy and a floating charging circuit 44 for selecting an input from either one of the solar battery 42 and the converter 48, supplying power to respective parts of the device and charging a battery 45 with electricity in a floating state. Even when commercial power supply can not be obtained in an area among mountains, power to be supplied to respective pars of the device can be obtained and data can be collected.
