Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved elastic type seal member having a structure holding necessary sealability simultaneously with permitting substantially a large centering error between constitutional elements, when the seal member receives deflecting force acting therein. SOLUTION: An improved elastic type member 10 comprises a substantially circular elastic disk-shaped member 12. The elastic disk-shaped member 12 comprises a pair of substantially flat parallel side parts opposed in an axial direction. A first groove 18 is formed in a first side part. A second groove 22 is formed in a second side part. The elastic disk-shaped member 12 has an opening 24 formed so as to substantially penetrate the center thereof to have a second prescribed diameter.
