Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pressure sensitive adhesive excellent in mechanical stability and capable of providing an adhesive having a high shearing strength by combining an adhesive with a tackifier by dispersing a polymer of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer in water by using a specific protecting colloid.
