Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound useful as a medicine, especially as an antiatheroselerotic agent. SOLUTION: This compound is shown by formula I (A, D, E, G, L and M are each H, a halogen trifluoromethyl, carboxyl, hydroxy, an alkoxy, etc.; R and R are each H, a cycloalkyl, an alkyl or phenyl which may be substituted or R and R2 form a cycloalkyl with a carbon atom; R is phenyl which may be substituted) such as N- 2(R)- and 2(S)-2-cyclopentyl-2-[4-(2,4-dimethyl- pyrimido[1,2-a]indol-9-yl-methyl)phenyl]acetyl}-(R)-phenylglycinol. The compound of formula I is obtained by amidating a compound of formula II (R is Cl, etc.) with a phenylglycinol of formula III. The compound is useful for treating coronary heat disease, cardiac failure, cerebral function disorder, ischemic brain disease, attack, blood flow disorder, microcirculation disorder, thrombosis, etc.
