Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject agent exhibiting treating effects such as the mitigation and cure of symptoms and the prevention of relapse in a short time and free from side action on the superficial mycosis of man by using lactoferrin as an active component. SOLUTION: This agent contains at least 1wt.% of bovine lactoferrin as an active component. The agent is especially effective against human superficial mycosis (trichophytosis) and is preferably administered orally at a daily rate of 2-200mg/kg-body weight in the form of pharmaceuticals or foods. The bovine lactoferrin on the market or prepared from cow's milk, defatted milk, etc., by conventional method can be used as the lactoferrin and the purity is preferably >=90%. The agent is easily usable because it is free from side action, safely usable even over a long period and applicable by oral administration.
