PASSENGER-CARGO SHIP SEPARATE BUILDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow to carry out an official examination of a generator equipment under the condition not furnishing a regular funnel, a silencer, and an exhaust pipe. SOLUTION: After a main hull 1 lower than a cargo area is built in the first factory, the main hull is shifted to the second factory, where a living area 2 and a funnel 3 including a silencer for exhaust are equipped at the upper part of the main hull 1, in this passenger-cargo ship separate building method. In the main hull 1, a propeller, a main engine to drive the propeller, its auxiliary machine, generators, and diesel engines 7 to drive the generator are provided, and substitute pipes 13 and reducer pipes 14 having an exhaust resistance equal to the exhaust resistance of the silencers of the diesel engines 7 and the exhaust pipes in funnel are connected to the exhaust pipes 10 of the diesel engines 7 for generator, and after the test of the generators is carried out, the the main hull is shifted to the second factory.
