STRUCTURE FOR COOLING DIE CASTING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for cooling a die casting machine which can deal with such problem as clogging of a cooling water groove. SOLUTION: At least one side between the inner abutting surface 2b of an outer member (outer tip 2) and an outer abutting surface 3b of an inner member (inner tip 3) abutted on the inner abutting surface 2b is formed with a branched cooling water groove 12. One end of this branched cooling water groove 12 is communicated with a water supplying passage 9 and also, a branching part 12a branched into at least two parts is provided at one end. Then, the other end extended to each part branched from this branching part 12a is communicated with a drainage passage 11. Even if one in plural cooling water grooves formed with the branched cooling water grooves 12 is clogged, the effectively cooling can be obtd. through the other cooling water passage.
