SCREW TYPE SELECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform selecting operation simply and easily by a method in which materials to be selected are supplied, small-sized scrap materials and parts of a prescribed size to be selected are selected and discharged with the rotation of a screw shaft, and residual large sized articles are discharged directly. SOLUTION: A screw shaft 2 to which a screw blade 3 is projectingly fixed and outer cylinder 4 into which the screw shaft 2 is inserted are provided, a hopper 6 for feeding materials to be selected is attached to the upper part of one end of the outer cylinder 4, a chute 7 for discharging large sized articles is attached to the other end, on the lower surface side of the outer cylinder 4, a small-diameter discharge hole 20 which allows small-sized scrap in the materials to pass is bored on the hopper 6 side, a large-diameter discharge hole which allows aimed articles to pass is bored after the hole 20, and the materials fed into the hopper are transferred by the rotation of the screw shaft 2 to be selected into the aimed articles, the small sized scrap, and the large-sized articles.
