PREPARATION OF LEVEE AND APPARATUS FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a levee, by which the levee capable of surely preventing water from leaking and preventing weed from growing is readily prepared by repairing an old levee, and fitting and stably installing a levee material on the repaired old levee and further to provide an apparatus for the method. SOLUTION: This method for preparing a levee comprises a step for successively forming a positioning groove C along one side edge of the top part B of an old levee in the width direction by a colter for forming a top groove and simultaneously cutting and evenly leveling the top part B of the old levee A, a step for successively forming a burying groove E at the foot of the levee by cutting the soil at the foot of the levee D continuing to the other side edge of the top part B of the old levee A in the width direction by a colter and allowing the apparatus to progress while removing the soil by a plow knife of a plow, a step for fitting and installing a levee material 6 having an engaged fragment 36 for being engaged to the positioning groove C and a buried fragment 38 for being buried in the burying groove E, and a step for burying the buried fragment 38 of the levee material 6 in the burying groove E by returning the removed soil to the burying groove E.
