Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the length of a forming side for arranging the electrode terminals of a data electrode and a scan electrode on a substrate, regarding a device for a matrix indication such as an EL display panel. SOLUTION: A lower electrode 2 as a data electrode is separated into two electrodes 2a and 2b at a screen dividing position, and one electrode 2a of the lower electrode 2 is connected to a lower electrode lead wiring 21 via the first passivation film 8. Also, the ends of the other electrode 2b of the lower electrode 2 and the lower electrode lead wiring 21 are positioned along the left side of a glass substrate 1. Furthermore, a back plate 6 as a scan electrode is connected to a back plate lead wiring 61 via the second passivation film 9. The end of the wiring 61 is as well positioned along the left side of the glass substrate 1. As a result, electrode terminals 71a, 72a and 7b to be formed at each end can be arranged along one side of the glass substrate 1.
