CONNECTION TERMINAL PART OF FLAT CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain an increase in the cost of the conventional connection terminal part of a flat cable resulting from the use of an intermediate connector molded with terminals arrayed in parallel. SOLUTION: A mating terminal connection part 51 is housed and fixed within the terminal housing part 61 of a connector housing 60, and the end of a flat cable 10 is secured to a fixing part 62a formed on a skirt part 62. At the same time, constitution is so made that the flat conductor connection part 52 of a terminal and the conductor 11 of the flat cable 10 are connected to each other at the positions of openings 62b on the skirt part 62. According to this construction, a structure is simplified and an inexpensive flat cable connection terminal part can be provided.
