TAPE GUIDE MOUNTING MECHANISM ON TAPE CASSETTE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable mounting of a tape guide on a case by using an inexpensive tape guide and also with a simple means. SOLUTION: An upper engaging piece 4 is provided on the upper surface part 1a of an upper shell 1 integrally therewith so as to project downward, and a lower engaging piece 5 is provided on the lower surface 2a of a lower shell 2 integrally therewith so as to project upward. The upper engaging piece 4 comprises a columnar base part 4b, a columnar middle part 4c having the diameter smaller than this base part 4b and an engaging protrusion 4a formed in the swelled state at a tip of this middle part 4c. The lower engaging piece 5 comprises a cylindrical base part 5b, a cylindrical upper part 5c successively provided on the upper part of the base part 5b and an engaging hole 5a at the inside of an inner peripheral edge formed in the swelled state at a tip of this upper part 5c. The engaging hole 5a and the engaging protrusion 4a are engaged in the tape guide 3 which is arranged in the space 15 between the upper surface part 1a of the upper shell 1 and the lower surface part 2a of the lower shell 2.
